ABOUT

I don't just write copy, I create narratives that resonate, engage, and inspire. As an award-winning writer and editor, I've built my communications firm with a singular mission: to help small and medium-sized companies find their voice and tell their story in a way that feels personal and professional.

Every business has a unique heartbeat—a core message that sets it apart from the competition, and it's my passion to bring that story to life through meticulously crafted blog posts, compelling email messages, dynamic digital content, insightful articles, engaging newsletters, attention-grabbing press releases, and innovative marketing materials.

I dive deep into understanding your company's values, mission, and personality, then translate those insights into clear, powerful messaging that resonates with your target audience.

"I'm passionate about helping businesses create compelling content that resonates with their audience and sets them apart from the competition. I take pride in my ability to craft engaging narratives and deliver impactful messaging that drives results for my clients."

HOW IT STARTED

Since I first heard my mother read to me, I was fascinated with stories. My bookshelf was bigger than my toy chest and much better stocked. By kindergarten I was writing and illustrating my own books. A few years later I won my first writing award: Junior Achievement's Book of the Year in my age category. I still remember the pride I felt when I passed my book, printed and displayed in the hallway of my school.

With a degree in marketing, I created dynamic integrated campaigns in English and Spanish for Fortune 500 companies. In 2009 I won Campaign of the Year by the American Advertising Federation as the lead writer for a bilingual campaign in the Midwest region.

My passion for storytelling sharpened when I led non-profit agencies, securing national media from press releases highlighting clients impacted by programs I managed. I wrote for fun as well, winning a 5-Minute Fiction contest with a YA dystopian tale featuring urine in the first sentence.

In 2012 my world was turned upside down when my husband died unexpectedly. I channeled my pain into words, writing blogs and articles about loss, grief, widowhood, and parenting through heartache. It led to my first publication in an anthology about losing your soulmate.

Life is too short not to pursue one’s passions, so I threw myself into a Master of Fine Arts in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Armed with my MFA, I write with the same fascination I’ve had since my mom introduced me to the written word.

In 2024 I won three awards that honor the best in Latino content producers from the National Association of Hispanic Publications for articles I wrote for Hola America Media Group.

Don't let your business blend in. Stand out. Your story matters, so let's tell it brilliantly and authentically.

TODAY

I am a sought-after speaker, published author, award-winning journalist, editor, and copywriter. I use what I know about words to paint lyrical portraits of the world as I see it and as I wish it were.
